The current health centre closes on Friday 26 March 2010 with services commencing in the new centre on Monday 29 March 2010.
The new building is situated beside the current one. It will be over three times the size of the current health centre and will provide modern state-of-the-art facilities which will meet the needs of the local community.
The impressive three storey building will provide all services available at the existing health centre including the eight GP Practices but with additional services including: x-ray, orthopaedics, dental and rehabilitation services as well as a cafe, a non-dispensing pharmacy service to provide advice and support on your medication and a Citizen Advice Bureau. There will be over 250 car parking spaces which will alleviate any problems of traffic congestion.
A booklet containing further information and a floor plan is available at the health centre. Each GP Practice has been numbered and colour coded so that you can find its exact location in the new centre.
Bannview Medical Practice is situated on the first floor, it is number 1 and the colour is green.
